In June our Sr. High Teens took off for a day of hiking and night of camping at Starved Rock State Park along the Illinois River. Our activities included Private Camping, 3 meals on the ground (that means outside), Hiking through State Park trails, an hour and a half ride there on a bus, canoeing down the Illinois River, field games, S’mores, and campfires, a visitor’s center films and shopping, an hour and a half ride back on a bus, evening singing and challenge time, and morning God & I time devotions.
