Biblical Apologetics for Real Life – Ken Hamm DVD
Josh Washburn Room 204
Participant Workbook
Our Western world is rapidly abandoning its biblical heritage. Increasingly faced with attacks by the world about the authority and accuracy of the Bible, many people have found no answers to their questions. The “fact” of millions of years of earth history and evolution has shown them that the Bible’s account of origins is wrong. This video course taught by Dr. Ken Hamm will enable you to answer the questions the world is asking about the authority and accuracy of the Bible: What about natural selection? Don’t radiometric dating methods prove the earth is millions of years old? Hasn’t science proven there is no God? You will discover why it is important to provide answers to skeptics and how to provide those answers with solid teaching on what the Bible says about biology, geology and astronomy.
Old Testament Survey II
David Gower Room 203
Part II of Survey of the Old Testament provides a comprehensive overview of Job through Malachi, examining the pattern, unity, and progression of Old Testament history. This section of God’s Word covers the entire time-line or story-line of the Old Testament, providing the setting for other OT books and the foundation for NT events and doctrine.
Sharing Your Faith –
Pastor Doiel Room 202
Sharing your faith by "The Way of the Master" is a combination video course with classroom instruction that will teach you to overcome your fears by using a proven, powerfully effective way to make the gospel make sense to those you care about. Learn to bypass the intellect (the place of argument) and speak directly to the conscience (the place of knowledge of right and wrong) - the way Jesus did. We will also look at different evangelistic approaches to those from different religious backgrounds.
Learning to Study the Bible in I Corinthians - Part I
Pastor Cook Room 205
I & II Corinthians - Holoman Commentary
The Bible is to be the basis for our living as believers. That being the case, we should be actively engaged in reading it and studying it. Our regular interactions with each other should be around the Scripture. The study of Scripture with other believers should be a natural part of our life. Sadly, many believers don’t participate in Bible studies because they don’t know how to approach the study of the Word. Though an interactive study of the book of I Corinthians, we will learn not only what Paul is teaching to the Corinthian church, but also how to systematically study and apply God’s Word to our daily living. Part I of this class will cover I Corinthians 1-9. Come and learn how to study God’s Word.
The Life of David
Tony Pelc Room 207
This class will be a fast-paced study of David’s eventful life. We’ll also pause along the way to study some of David’s Psalms as they fit into his story. Here’s a sampling of the topics that will be covered: the solution to the fear of man, proper responses when life is enjoyable and when it’s unbearable, how to attract godly friends, the remedy for your lack of faith, what to do when God doesn’t answer your prayers, how to respond to a crisis, God’s provision for overflowing joy, a manual for handling the “peanut gallery,” and what your spiritual leaders need from you. We will find God’s answers to life’s issues as we relive David’s emergence and reign as king.
The Book of Revelation (Spanish) –
John Goossen Sala 208
